DetailsThis is a thinner, slightly more delicate looking (than the chunky size 8), but still visible thread for big-stitch quilting and embroidery. I use both the size 8 and the size 12 for hand quilting. I choose 12 when the piecing is more intricate or delicate, or where I want a pretty stitch but I don't want it to take the whole show.
